True North

Last night I attended the screening of a new film by Steve Hudson. I met Steve and his wife Sonja (and their newly minted twin boys) in the playground, which is where I’ve met most of the more interesting folks I know.

“True North” is Steve’s first feature film as Writer and Director and he has made a powerful film. I would caution you that this isn’t a light-hearted film. “True North” deals with a very difficult subject – human trafficking. That said; Steve is a gentle man and his film is honest and dramatic and well-made. If you happen to live in a city where it is playing, please give it a look
