Where is Baghdad Burning?

Many of you know of this writer, a remarkable young woman in Baghdad whose accounts of life in that city are vivid, compelling and often frightening. She has become a source for may of us who no longer feel they can rely on the commercial news services, a source for truth in an environment where it is nearly impossible to decipher the good guys from the bad guys. And she makes it all so personal – that her readers feel they know her. This makes the long period since her last dispatch troubling. Her last post was August 5th. Perhaps she left the country, perhaps she is without electricity, perhaps, perhaps, perhaps …

Wherever she is I hope she is well and writing about it.

Peace

I have also wondered. I tried to google this question, but got nowhere. Let us know if you find anything out.

I heard from her British publiser today ... they have no news either but hope she has safely left Baghdad. If I learn more, I'll pass it along.
